Members of the Public Works Department have picked up the many boxes of food from all our town schools, the students and staff are most generous and provide about 85% of our food to be distributed to our clients.
Volunteers help unload the trucks and then begin the process of sorting over 10,000 items of food
Over 400 banana boxes are prepared with bottoms and taped up to hold 70+ lbs of food
Volunteers begin the process of packing 400+ boxes of food to be distributed to the Holiday for Giving Clients.
The Rock Hill School Ambassador Group came for a visit and tour of Holiday for Giving. They organized a very successful food drive at their school and wanted to see, first hand, what happens to the food once it arrives at HFG. They were a very impressive group and we will look for their enthusiasm to continue through middle and high school; and hope they return in the future as volunteers.
The Dag Hammarskjold Girls Basketball Team volunteers their time each year. We are so grateful for their help as each year they help sort hundreds of toys and make-up over
400 personal hygiene kits for our clients.
Here comes the Yalesville Volunteer Fire Department!!!
They have just finished their Annual Toy Drive and
are now delivering all the toys that were generously donated.
Oh! Look! A Special Guest delivering the toys...
Santa takes a few minutes to pose with all his helpers
Toys all sorted, food boxes filled, pillowcases packaged, baby boxes packed and personal hygiene kits bagged; we are ready!
Thank you to everyone!
May God Bless You All!
